Today (Yesterday?) I met up with the Young Ambassadors, who are pretty much the East Asian (well, ethnically Chinese) counterpart to my fellowship program. It was really fun, if awkward at times hahaha. We ate at this really nice Chinese restaurant owned by one of the former fellows and current coordinator (whether he does his job or not... Well... That's up for everyone else to decide) and the food was yummy.
I just wished I asked what it was before eating @3@ I ate pork today for the first time in years. I knew the moment I took a bite of it that it wasn't chicken like the girl next to me said, but the YA's were all talking about how nice it tasted and stuff that I felt oblige to finish what was put on my plate even if the thought of pigs makes me nauseous. I chased it down quickly with a lot of beans and rice and lemon-lime soda.
Then off to a second memorial tour, but this was not only smaller, but lacked the intense walking we did on the first one! The YAs had a bus that we chilled in, and then we filed out for some pictures and Joel's awesome tour guide-y-ness, and then scrambled for the bus again.
I met some pretty interesting people, so I hope that I can talk to them again soon.
My Kindle has a scratch or something on it. I am not amused.
I might not get my scholarship that was promised me for four years. I certainly know I won't be getting it after this year, if I get it at all.
I'm not getting internet in my room. When I asked my dad about it, he told me I shouldn't let something like that stop me from sending Amazon an e-mail. I'm kriffing sorry that I didn't sneak downstairs at eleven o'clock to go and send one e-mail, when you tell me that I should not head down the stairs when no one else is down there that late at night. I get in trouble for NOT breaking the rules, but breaking the rules gets me in trouble anyways. eff that.
