My list of things to do at Fanime. Otakon, dammit.
This obviously shows that my "local" con gets no love from me. I don't know if I'll make it through the weekend without thinking of a slew of Otacon jokes... I blame my beloved slashy MGS fanfics and artwork <3
Everything is subject to change, especially as it gets closer to the weekend in question and I start figuring out what Lauren wants to do.
New Kindle coming this weekend. Have to send the old one back though.
7chan is also up so I can go back to /tg/ but I have little to contribute while there's lots of stuff I want. For now, let me just grab the new WW supplement and I'll be happy.
In other news -- the Kickstarter for Far West is going well! They currently at 13k$ with a new goal of 13.5K$!!! If we hit (and surpass) that goal, we get Tales of the Far West, which is a literary supplement for the series. We've already won an exclusive starter for the game, along with other goodies we got originally (for me at the Grand Mater of the Dust Road level, that means, the pdf/ebook, shirt, limited edition hardcover, prints, Far West society membership for a year, an exclusive adventure tailored to me and a character based off of me in the Far West universe!). I really want to somehow make it to the 500$ pledge level, or at least the 250$. Membership for life, right? 500$ just seems like a hella good deal for every product ever to be made...
Listed under RPG versus Life, because I'm fangirling more on this hahaha.
My Kindle has a scratch or something on it. I am not amused.
I might not get my scholarship that was promised me for four years. I certainly know I won't be getting it after this year, if I get it at all.
I'm not getting internet in my room. When I asked my dad about it, he told me I shouldn't let something like that stop me from sending Amazon an e-mail. I'm kriffing sorry that I didn't sneak downstairs at eleven o'clock to go and send one e-mail, when you tell me that I should not head down the stairs when no one else is down there that late at night. I get in trouble for NOT breaking the rules, but breaking the rules gets me in trouble anyways. eff that.
Yesterday was... interesting... And utterly unproductive. I watched Night at the Museum for a few hours so that was cool.
Currently, I am at FOSE Conference and Exposition (pronounced FAH-si, for some reason), typing via my Kindle (which is just as bad as my phone, bluh). Free internet is cool though.
I'm so tired now that it's done @3@. People were lining up to the Exibhitors' Hall from before 0930, and it only opened at 1000! (I wheedled my way to the front at exactly 0958, thank you very much) It was lots of fun and I got a lot of free stuff! Like candy! And informational cards, and even a free phone case (for my dad -- they didn't have any for my phone "/). I tried to get a remote control helicopter, but I couldn't get it to land on the circle, bluh. I wonder if they would have given it to me if I started to cry...
I wanna cry now though. My feet hurt so bad from all the walking. I better have won SOMETHING to make up for it, even if I never plan on using an iPad or Playbook or whatever raffles I joined.
Currently eating cup ramen with stirrers because I have no utensils.
